Healthy Eating



If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable (1 Corinthians 15:19).

God always connects everything He does with eternity, because He thinks in terms of eternity.
He’s the eternal God, and always, He deals with things that last
forever. In Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV), the Bible says, “He has made
everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the
hearts of men. He brought eternity to men so they can see
beyond this world.

Everything God is
interested in, and all that He does, is connected to eternity. So, set your focus on eternity. Set your mind on God’s purpose for your life.

That’s what counts! It
has to be a revelation that you accept, endorse and imbibe into your spirit; a knowledge that’s a
controlling principle in your life.

Today i am bringing in one of my popular segment “HEALTHY EATING PART 11”. The topic is “HOW WHEAT IS HARMFUL TO HUMAN BODY”.

As we all know, wheat is one of the most commonly known grain in the world. It is used for many purpose such as, Biscuit production, Bread production and Meal (Swallow). Among this three i will throw more light on wheat meal.

Wheat flour is now the preferred swallow in many homes (In Nigeria), Mostly in Urban area.
Though wheat is rich in fibre and some other nutrients, but is a food anybody that desire wellness should keep at arm length.

Reasons, wheat contain “gluten” a protein that causes inflammation, gluten is harmful to all the organs in the body including the brain, heart and eyes.

According to report made by the journal of the American Medical Association shows that within 1969 – 2008, 30,000 patients that were diagnosed with gluten had higher risk of death from cancer and heart disease.

Another danger of wheat to human is an acid forming food, the negative effect of eating an acid forming food, is that it reduces the body PH and deplete oxygen level in the cell and tissues, thereby causing all forms of diseases such as, Obesity, Diabetes, Cancer etc, to attack the body.

Further more, the high rate of wheat consumption in this region of the world, people can accept poison as food due to lack of knowledge.

In conclusion, other flour meal such as yam flour, corn flour etc, can replace wheat flour for a healthy meal.
