Today’s post is actually based on “How To Cook Indian Fried Rice”. Indian style. It had vegetables, but was so flavourful! It is so simple that you could even Get right while trying for the first time, I could remember when i made Indian Fried Rich for lunch, i got comments from few friends who came visit.
The recipe is so so so simple. Only that you have to cut the veggies finely. It is very flavour and tasteful if you know the secrets on how to go about it. You can as well try it for lunch too or rather dinner depending on your choice. Now lets go into the main dish!
i. Basmati rice (5 cup)
ii. Carrot (4)
iii. Beans ( I used 12 baby beans). iv. Baby corn (4).
v. White Pepper ( 1 teaspoon powder).
vi. Spring onion (4).
vii. Margarine (4 tablespoon).
viii. Sugar – 1/2 tsp (optional).
ix. Curry powder.
x. Chicken bullion.
1. Cook the rice with 5 cups of
water and separate the grains. Cut
the veggies in a finely shape so that it can be cooked easily in a short period of time.
2. Heat a broad pan
with margarine, When its hot, add the veggies such as the corn, salt a pinch, beans, curry little e.t.c with little quantity of sugar and stir fry for 1minutes or until its well cooked, but retains its crunchiness.
3. Add pepper ( preferable white pepper), spring onions finely chopped, and stir fry for a minute. Add the chicken bullion, allow for 30seconds.
4. Add the rice and stir add little water and cook on medium heat till the water is completely absorbed and the rice is well cooked. Serve with fried chicken or turkey!
* Adding sugar to the rice helps retain the colour.
* Use a quality basmati
rice because the rice flavor plays
a major role in the recipe.
* Veggies should not be
over cooked, therefore you have to make sure its just crunchy.
* you can add parsley to give it more flavor and also garnish it with cashewnuts.
HOPE TO GET YOUR FEED BACKS!
ONCE AGAIN HAPPY NEW MONTH DEAR READERS!
