LEMONADE (LEMON SQUASH)

OUR SPIRITUAL FOOD

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,for reproof, for correction,for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).

The Word is profitable to change your way of thinking. This is what the Lord wants. He desires to change your opinion about Him, about other people, about the world, your perception about life, and even about yourself.

He wants you to think right all the time. If you had fear in your life, for example, He wants you to replace it with faith, boldness, and confidence. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

The Word is the solution for every problem; therefore, you must trust the integrity of God’s Word. God has given you the Scriptures to keep you on the right path, the path of His glory and righteousness.

He’s given you His Word to use in navigating your way through life, in victory and success. Isaiah 30:21 says, “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”

In today’s post, i will be discussing on “How To Make Lemonade Juice (Lemon Squash)
i love adding new recipes in my cooking library and i also love creating new recipes as well so as to share with those in need of new food stuff.

This lemonade recipe is generally made as a refreshing non-alcoholic cooler on warm days and an alternative to cocktails on summer nights.

RECIPES

i. A handful fresh mint(well picked leaves)
ii. Lemon of your quantity (juice and zest)
iii.3 tablespoon of sugar cane syrup
iv. Sparkling mineral water(used as top up for the juice).
v. white sugar (optional)
it can be used when the sugar cane syrup is not much

PROCEDURE
1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.

2.Place the mint leaves into a tea towel and bruise with a rolling pin. Add the mint to a pitcher, with the lemon juice and zest and the sugar cane syrup along side little quantity of the chilled sugar syrup in step 1.

3. Top up with sparkling water. Mix the cocktail and add more sugar cane syrup, to taste.

4. After that refrigerate it to be chilled before serving.
